The Screenwriters' Festival will be here in just over two weeks. A fantastic event for old pros and fresh-faced up-and-comers alike, it runs from July 1-3.
Being ridiculously excited about the Festival, Piers Beckley and I will be there in Cheltenham the evening before, June 30. And we're hosting an informal Scribomeet event, that very night. Nothing big, nothing fancy. Open to anyone. Purely an opportunity to you to turn up and say hello to us and whoever else is there.
So if those butterflies are already starting to multiply in your stomach at the very thought of networking and meeting new people, this should be a fine way to dip a toe in the water of chat, then start the Festival with some reassuringly familiar faces in mind.
We'll be in the Cheltenham Travelodge's Harvester bar, from 6pm. See you there!

I know I'm not really a screenwriter, but I'm coming anyway, because it all sounds jolly lovely.
Mine's a large one (snigger)
Hooray! Marvellous! I'll be there.
Yes! It's started!
See you there...
Great news. See you all in a couple of weeks.
Hi - I'll be there. x
Barring the unforeseen of course, and I believe it is banned at Harvesters.
Would love to be there but since I will have only just got back from Edinburgh FF the night before, I may be pushing my luck.
Awww, c'mon Sal. Get in there! And hooray for everyone else who's attending.
You forgot me! I'll be there drinking, err....I mean meeting with you on the Monday :-)
Does that 'yup' mean you're attending, Far Away? Cool!
What with one thing and another I'd completely forgotten about the SWF... Hope there's a ticket left... Buggeration.
Peacey's back! Fantastic.
